Quick Design Check

Use this five-minute check before spending a long time building the wrong idea.

Designer: explain without clicking

Show your planning sketch and explain:

1. What the object is meant to communicate or do.
2. Which basic shapes will create it.
3. Which shapes add material and which shapes make holes.
4. Where parts connect.
5. One area you are unsure about.

Reviewer: respond

Give the designer:

• one clear strength: “I can tell that…”;
• one question: “How will…?”;
• one possible risk: “This part may…”;
• one next step: “Before building, try…”.

Useful comments refer to the sketch, measurements, connections, or printability—not whether you personally like the idea.

Designer: decide

Add one note or change to your plan. Photograph the updated plan for Notion and record who gave the feedback.
